3-5 pm – Conscious Dying and the After Life

Conscious dying is being aware, awake and accepting of what is happening at end of life and in the moment of one's death. The afterlife is a life that some people believe begins when you die, as in the continued existence of your consciousness or soul. For this workshop we will engage in creative exercises and share in discussions that address conscious dying and the afterlife. Please join us for this unique and inspirational event.  

 7 - 9 pm - Cacao Ceremony

In this ceremony we will invite the spirit of the cacao to help us in opening our hearts and bringing us to a state of harmony with our souls, in order to create the best reality possible for ourselves and our future world. Join Bird Woman to explore the realm of animal communication and interspecies communication- a non-verbal, telepathic method for speaking with animals, plants and the environment, also known as intuitive communication. For 1000’s of years Cacao ceremonies have been performed by the indigenous tribes of Central America. Mayan spiritual elders say that the Cacao Spirit was one of the most powerful deities in ancient Mayan cosmology. It was considered to be the ‘Food of the Gods’. Indigenous myth states that when the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, cacao comes from the rainforest to open people’s hearts, returning the planet to a state of harmony.

We understand the importance of contributing to the cultures that bring us the sacred plant teachers we use to help us in so many ceremonies today. Therefore our raw cacao is sourced from a Guatemalan woman's collective. We find it especially important to support the women of Guatemala who have often been unacknowledged and under-served.

The event will be held outdoors so that we are best able to connect with nature and the elements to support us in this sacred journey. If rain is predicted we will hold the event indoors, it will not be cancelled. This is a ceremony that I was trained in for 8 years before sharing it openly with others a few years ago. It is a powerful and potent purification ceremony which can ignite healing and transformation.
Remember to bring a towel, change of clothes, your water bottle and a dish to share (for the community meal following the lodge) and a donation to offer for stones, wood and use of the land. Women should wear a dress or skirt and shirt with shoulders, chest and upper legs covered, as is traditional.

Through nature we can best connect with our true selves. It is through this connection to ourselves and the earth that we are able to see our souls’ purpose more clearly and to easily live from a place of joy.

In this one day retreat we will focus on co-creating with nature to better be able to trust our intuitions, in order to be in harmony with our own true nature. We will work with the sacred cacao plant teacher to open our hearts to a deeper connection with ourselves and with Great Spirit. Through mirth and laughter, we will experience the joy that is meant for us all, by celebrating our most authentic selves. Why have people believed in fairies for hundreds of years? Are they even real? The answer remains to be seen but there is some compelling evidence to the possibility of their existence. Humans have befriended and called on them for help and in magic for eons. With so much reverence for these winged creatures, perhaps there is some truth to it. At least that is what I have always believed.

Online Zoom Workshop

We are all born with intuition and a sixth sense. Our crystal palace helps give us access to it through the third eye and pineal gland. We possess the ability to communicate telepathically, foresee the future, heal with our hands or any number of “supernatural” powers. For some it comes easily from an early age. Others develop it over time. Even a life changing event can occur and grant access to psychic intuition and clairvoyance.

In this workshop we will explore exercises for remembering our sixth sense capabilities. In this workshop we will explore these concepts and take a look at how traditional cultures practice gratitude.

When we put gratitude before our busy progress driven lives, there-in lies the grace. Life is not always easy. But if we can recognize how kind the universe has been to us, rather than focusing on the negative, we can understand that grace surrounds us and we are able to see all of life’s lessons as blessings.

The Wonder and Wizardry Academy aims to engage children in becoming aware of their 6th sense gifts through their imagination. We all have the ability to talk to animals, heal and create change using energy as a tool. Imagine if we had all been taught how? We would be a lot better equipped to navigate life, especially in such changing times.  

Head Mistress, Ms. Rosemary, encourages children to use their imaginations to discover the unique abilities we all possess naturally. In this workshop kids will meet mystical creatures, learn about crystals, and explore the energy and space around them. Through using the imagination in interactive play and movement-based activities, children can begin to open up to their innate supernatural abilities.

We will be talking about the healing energy of crystals and Ms. Rosemary asks that each child bring a favorite rock or crystal to share. Parents are encouraged to attend with their child as they may also find the exercises useful and fun to do together.

Ms. Rosemary has more than twenty years of experience working with children, including as a costumed character for birthday parties, in art programs and summer camps that she has directed, and in the after-care program of the Waldorf School. She feels it is important to guide children in positive thinking and the belief that anything is possible if they set their minds to it.

In this workshop we will look at why laughter truly is the best medicine. Together we will explore how to make ourselves laugh as a way to release stress and be able to come back into emotional balance. We all have busy lives but it is so important to take time to connect with nature and doing so through the elements is a powerful way to achieve this connection. In this workshop I will share methods that can be incorporated into anyone’s life. We will explore ways for working with each element to bring health and well-being. Nature is meant to help us. It is our ally. It holds so much medicine. Together we will remember what it was like to live close to nature and then begin to reclaim our connection through simple practices.

Animal stewardship (connecting with and supporting wild and domestic animals) will be the basis for this class. Rosemary, aka Bird Woman, will share valuable information from her years of experience as a wildlife rehabber, animal communicator, and healer. She will cover such topics as- honoring the natural world, wildlife rescue, and rehabilitation, sacred work with feathers and bones, interspecies communication, and sacred activism. We invite you to join her in discussions and spiritual exercises addressing how to be the best ally to the animal kingdom.

These can all guide us in our lives in numerous ways, from decision making to healing, using our intuition to working through issues.

In this workshop, Rosemary AKA Bird Woman will guide you in ways for better connecting with the natural world, in order to help you find your main spirit animal or additional spirit animal helpers. Through exercises, mindfulness, meditation, and other spiritual practices we will examine techniques for allowing yourself to open up to a deeper understanding of the animal kingdom. Thus, in turn, helping you to better communicate with the animals that have already been guiding you your whole life.
